Condition of Alpine trail in Oakridge?

Anyone know the condition of Alpine? Still under snow at the top? Lots of blowdowns? Is there typically poision oak on the trail? I have not done it yet, but heard it's like 10miles of downhill. True? Thanks.

Upper Alpine is still deep under snow, but the lower half is open. There is only poison oak at the bottom, but its bad. There is lotsa downhill on the alpine trail, but it still climbs approx 2500 feet on the "downhill" so its not really a "downhill trail". the climbs are scattered throughout, often times steep, but only 1/2 mile long or shorter. Hook up with the DOD for a guided ride of the Alpine tral, and the other great trails in Oakridge.
