I've noticed on the Gravelle and River Wagon portions of the Browns loop that they've graveled most of the roads nearby and there are logging boundary ribbons on many of the trees on the trail. I suspect they're getting ready to log much of this area come winter... Does anyone know anything about this?
While I'm glad we get the opportunity to ride trails out in the forest, I also think they could at least avoid the area where one of the few well-established trails exist? Perhaps more of a buffer zone than right up to the trail? Hopefully it won't be a full clear-cut but selective logging as they did on some of the Gales creek stuff.
