Black Rock above the fog/inversion layer?
Is Black Rock above the fog when the Valley has these inversions or is it typically socked in too?
Need to get out of this freezing cold fog. Suggestions for locations above the fog?

I have been to Black Rock and seen the sunshine on the top and come down the trails a few hundred feet and run into ice and fog. Closer to Corvallis, Dimple Hill and McColoch Peack both frequently sit above the fog and are much closer to town.

Black Rock was great yesterday. Warm. Sunny. Great trail conditions. Couldn't ask for better conditions and hardly anyone out there.

Perfect conditions today. Dirt was unreal.

I have been up there a lot during the past 2 months. I am in Albany. Foggy when I leave. Has been great at BR. Its usually above the fog.
