    Bend Wanoga Trails?

Hoping to run down there this weekend from PDX area. Anybody got the skinny on Funner, Tyler's, and Tiddlywinks? I checked bendtrails, but many of the updates are a behind week or so....

    Thanks!
    Sam

Funner last Sunday seemingly had snow at the lead-in to all the fun drops. It might be better now since the temperature hit the mid 80s yesterday but I saw snow in the forecast tonight.

Would you be unhappy if you had to head across the road to Phil's?

They are fun, but right now the main consideration is how much snow they have. Phil's network (including COD) and lower Storm King are for sure rideable. Higher than that it's iffy.

We were there last weekend, and 5000' elevation is about where the snow starts becoming an issue.

I have ridden all of Storm King, Skyliners and up to 5,400' on Mrazek in last few days. Very minimal amount of snow.

    As of Saturday 5/6

Uphill on Funner is good to the bottom of the slalom. Coming down there is enough snow to make it not worth it quite yet. Too much start stopping. All clear below 4612 though.

As for Tiddly's its really only snow free in the two thinned areas. Not worth it yet.

Tyler's has a lot of snow at the intersection of Larsen's and for several hundred feet down as well.

NOAA is forecasting more snow for that area starting Friday.

I rode up to Tiddly to Larsen to Tyler's on Wednesday morning and there were a few snow patches at the Larsen/Tyler's intersection but all were rideable (not that I cleaned them all) and totally worth continuing on. Couldn't get very far up Tiddly past the Larsen turnoff without hitting big unrideable snow patches though. Later on Wednesday it was 80 so I imagine those snow patches are going away, despite a dusting of snow last night.

Friday AM: It did snow briefly on top of Helicopter pad, but then cleared to sunny skies. The dirt is fantastic.
