Bend trail suggestions for weekday morning rides with dogs
Without getting into an endless dog argument, I'd just like some intel. I understand the arguments against dogs on crowded or high-speed trails, but I've had great experiences riding with my dogs in moab. We just get on the trail early, stick to the less populated trails (mag 7, klondike bluffs area, obscure jeep roads etc...) and we usually see few if any other riders. If we visit bend it will be later this week, and we'd be riding by 9:00 am, going for up to 2 hrs at a fairly leisurely pace. I bring water for them, so that's not an issue. We like tight and flowy and not too much steepness. Thanks for the assistance and suggestions.

head over on the east side and hit the swamp wells, arnold ice cave, horse butte trails. They are pretty primo this time of year. Very tight singletrack. Not much elevation gain. Much better views than anything in phil's area.
you can do anywhere from 10-30 mile loops out there.

I was just going to say that. Finally cool enough for the 4-legged friends to safely do the rides, too.

Thanks for the great tips, guys. One of the reasons we like to start early is for the cool weather (1 dog doesn't much care for heat, the other one doesn't seem to notice it). Here in idaho we typically get going before sunrise in the summer.
