Willem got himself a road bike and has been hitting the pavement (although he did podium at Pickett's Charge on Sunday).

He doesn't mess around either. He's been putting in some big miles.

Great! Maybe it'll keep him away from Fox News, too! He was near Tea Bagging territory!

Seriously, though. I love road biking, and wish I did more. But I would never, ever sacrifice mountain biking to do so!

They usually are. Let's hope no new "trails" (i.e. lazy shortcuts) are "constructed" during this race, as is often the case.

Should only be closed sunday for the race. Whoops is not being used.

As far as I know..... Funner, Tiddly, and Tylers will be in the race. Maybe Storm King not sure.

Hillbilly cuts are pretty well handled/blocked in Bend, as far as I have seen.

On that note, there is a new one on lower Tiddly, and I think the only racing there lately has been Strava haha.

I think I saw this come up a while back but I forgot to ask what the deal is with the two short cuts from Mrazek to Ben's.... They were off the maps for a long time but I see that they are on the new Adventure map. Are they legit now? We did come upon a large group of women scoping the steep section of the southern one and I guess all it takes is some estrogen encouragement to get the testosterone going and I cleaned it up for the first time in a while. But, it looked way dumbed down from years past.
P.S. Awesome re-route from Skyliners to the Ben's/MTB junction. Totally makes sense now that Ben's is one way.

Although this is more of a blowdown/trail conditions topic, I'm curious as well. I'm planning on using Twinks and Storm King as part of a big ride on Saturday.

That's funny! I stay away from MTBR for a bit and look what happens... Feel like a celebrity! ;-)

But seriously, I was wondering the same thing. Maybe he's logging monster miles and doesn't have time for this thread of drivel.

EDIT: My apologies to the OP - I thought I was in the 2014 Blow Down thread. Oops.
