Nice bike! How is that DT SWiss 9mm axle treating you? Any visible improvement?

I've only really used the Reba withe the 9mm DT Swiss axle so I don't have a lot to compare it to. This is my first 29er MTB. The fron end seems stiff and I have no issues keeping my line in rocky/rooty terrain. It certainly seems like a better option than a standard QR, but I hesitate to make any specific performance claims I can't back up with evidence.

I ride those Selle Anatomica saddles on a lot of my bikes. I can ride a 200K or 300K road ride without bike shorts and not have any saddle discomfort. They've also stood up to a lot of abuse on my MTBs. So I certainly would recommend them.

Got my Scandal 29er mostly packed for a ride to explore some trails/logging roads near home.

Just gotta load up the water and food now.

Looking forward to some fast dirt riding with a buddy.

It will be interesting to see what the route looks like after spending a bunch of time planning from topo maps.

Shot of the Scandal before we left on our most recent bikepacking trip this week. I've made a few changes the last couple months and pretty much reached a steady state on this bike now.

Wow, nice ride!! i am really thinking of getting one of those. When you get a chance could you measure the distance from the fork race to the top of the headset. (I want to know if I would need to purchase a new fork if I end up getting this frame. Thanks!

My 19.5" frame's HT is 10.75cm tall by itself and 12.5cm with On One Smoothie headset from bottom of crown race to top of headset cap.

Does the frame come with both vertical and horizontal dropouts? Or do I have to buy horizontal ones separately?

Mine came with both. On One seems to have a lot of variation in how they sell their bikes so I would always check the specific frame you are buying to ensure - unless the write up in the online store specifies.
