    Smorgasbord & Chunky Monkey tubeless?

Just posted this in the wheels/tires forum, but thought I would ask the question here, as you On One guys might have more direct knowledge:

Just saw a couple On One tires for the first time -- a Smorgasbord and Chunky Monkey a friend has purchased from On One/Titus in Portland.

I am impressed with the tread patterns, feel of the sidewalls, and the aggressive look of the beads.

I would like to run these tires in 29er but am committed to tubeless.

Does anyone have experience or thoughts on running these with Stan's and no tube?

I would be running them on WTB i23 rims with Stan's tape. Would love to run a 2.4 Chunky Monkey on the front.

Shiggy and Brant, what do you think?

    Thanks for any input!

    Smorgasbord & Chunky Monkey tubeless?

My friend's 26er tires. Chunky Monkey 2.4 (mounted on rim) on the right and Smorgasbord 2.25 (unmounted) on the left.

These are standard bead tires and I do not recommend using any standard tire and/or rim without inner tubes.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

FYI, I set my smorgasbord and chunky monkey up tubeless, no dramas, on crest rims. Seated and sealed well. Loving this combo.
    I see hills.

    I want to climb them.

I also set up CM and SMB on Stans Flows recently with no drama's. Ran them with a tube for a week, pulled the tube out, poured in some goop and they pumped straight up with a basic floor pump. Been riding them for a month that way with no issue.

Chunky Monkeys, Flow Ex's, overlapping Gorilla Tape at the valve stem, and soapy water. To peak Joe Blow blew them up quite easily. Though a second pair of hands/a stand to hold them in the air made things much smoother

Re: Smorgasbord & Chunky Monkey tubeless?

One CM in 26" flavor and one in a 29", both tubeless from the get go using Stans. 6+ months now.
Same carcass as the Ardent, made by Maxxis, some of the best tires I've ever converted.
