    New question here. Scandal frames

Anyone see any in stock anywhere? I am looking for a 18in in either black or raw.

What size ?? 26 or 29. Some 26 mysteriously turned up on the UK site a couple of weeks ago. 18 inch black. Only one left now though. I'm a tad peeved as I have been planning to build a 26 ScandAL SS for months. Frames disappeared from Site last year so I changed plans and brought a fork for tapered head tube. Was just about to buy a frame to finish the build 2 weeks ago and saw these.... ARRR. Not a tapered head tube though. Could sell fork and buy new one... but I stuck with my plan B and bought the other frame.

I was looking for a 29, should've been more specific.

I have had now two cannondale frame, both have cracked at the seat tube and hopefully this latest one will also be covered under the lifetime warranty. I have a Inbred(commuter) and a Fatty so I thought I could round out the set with a Scandal(SS race). I do not care for the Lurcher I think it is a ugly looking frame and much prefer the smoother lines of a Scandal.

No worries. I built up a scandal 29er last year. Great bike. You'll like it if you can find a frame.

Would have loved to build up a 26 as a SS but alas the frame was not available when I was buying all the parts for the build.

It's strange they took them off the market. You stumble across quite a lot of threads on the net where people still want one and from what I understand they were a popular frame.

Bit of an update. I was snooping around planet x usa and uk along with on one uk and I found ONE black 18in frame in stock at planet x uk. I snagged it up immediately. Finally I can build up the dream bike.

Looks good. I'm jealous. I really wanted a Scandal frame for my SS build.

I have the same work stand. Got it at ALDI. They must go well with scandal frames...

Planet X told me this morning that the Parkwood is replacing the Scandal. I was a little bummed but it looks like a decent frame and I may amend my plans to the Parkwood instead. Though, still like the Inbred. He said they will have them in stock in December but expects them to go quick.

That's is crazy, the Parkwood and the Scandal are 2 completely different styles of bike.

Every time they get a shipment of Scandals in, they seem to sell out in no time. Hard to believe that On One would drop it. I was planning to replace mine at some stage with an anodized one, but looks like i'll not get the chance now.

The Lurcher replaced the Scandal, the Parkwood is the AL version of the Ti Fireline Evo.

The Lurcher is FUGLY, and very heavy for a carbon frame, but yes I think you're right.

I'd love a Scandal / Inbred in Titanium.

I wish I could have found a Inbred Ti I would have gotten that and never bought another bike again. Downside is I do not think they come in a SS option only geared.

The scandal has been great, however it has been overshadowed by my On-One Fatty and has been just used for racing and nothing else really.
