On One's John Shaggy Ross got 2nd on a Fatty. Ed Oxley might take No. 3, but still waiting to hear where he is at between checkpoints. Brant Richards apparently pushed through most of the check points but not all the way. A great effort for sure!

Still waiting for word on the Great Beard.

    From Ed Oxley on Twitter:

"@GreatRock: I got 3rd at the Rovaniemi 150! Waiting for 9am local time,
which is when beer can be sold to me."

    What a huge accomplishment!

With a beard like Ed's, the man cannot fail, the other great beards of history will come down and drive him forward at times of great need.

    That's amazing, proper hard nut!

I loved the way Ed described his training plan in his "Rocking the Fat One" video: "ride lots".

It was an awesome ride. My ass is very sore even though I pushed lots.

Would be nice if they listed the Fatties and other types of bikes the racers had ridden.

And tyres? Pressure? Gearing? Gear carrying method? Diet? Rider weight...
Loads of interesting stuff possibly but make of bike probably least interesting to me even if 2/3rd of podium were on Fattys.

I remember a lot of Surlys. One moonlander. A pink fat tandem.
