Here's a pic of my Inbred from this past weekend....Funny, this was built to serve kind of a back-up purpose to my JET9 and somehow it's become my go-to bike. It's a good 4 lbs heavier than the JET but feels so damn good. Can't really explain it.

Anyone happen to be riding a 18.5" Inbred 29er w/ a saddle height around 79cm? I am in between sizes and would like to see how much seat post is showing on this setup.

Thanks! After 2 rides I am very pleased with the Charger Pros. They were crazy easy to set up with the included stan's. The rear hub is a little loud but that doesn't bother me much. Good luck!

Glad to see that I am not the only one running:
    1. Manitou Tower (Minute) Pro (can't recommend this fork enough)
    2. Gato in the front
    3. Saguaro in the back!!

And agree with everyone that these things just feel so damn good, even if they are heavier than most bikes....

    Soma Juice - 5lbs - $450
    Canfield Nimble 9 - 5.5lbs - $650

Gotta compare apples to apples...the Inbred is right in line with the others. Only the Soma Juice shares the versatlity and it's still twice as much. Have an Inbred on the way for my wife and for $220 shipped I tried to find a reason not to order and just couldn't.

Personally for me, weight does not count so much for a steel frame with ISCG-05 tabs, rack mounts, etc. but mine was 2875 grams (6,34 lbs) with headset included (FSA Orbit MX w/ all parts). Inbred 29er, size L/19,5".

Pompino with a Surly Crosscheck fork, 40x17 gear, 32c slicks. I ride this bike on my short 3 mile commute to work most days and do long road rides around town on my days off when I don't feel in the mood to ride a mountain bike. I would like to put some 35c CX tires on it and see how it handles in the woods.

    Nice Bike!!

I'd be scared to death riding that trail. My 1st thought was "tropical rainforest".

Yes, we definitely have the rain forests here in Western Oregon (not tropical though). This Lurcher is so much fun! Great geometry. Light and stiff. And the Chris King SS rear hub is worth every penny.

New inbred, pretty fun so far aside from the fact that I can't get the pic straight!

Just picked up my wife's 16" Orange Inbred from the post office. My LBS is next door so I stopped in to use the scale. 5.75lb exactly. For the price, material, versatility and durability it can't be beat!

For the record, ordered from the UK on 11/11 and first delivery attempt on 11/27. It's too bad shipping from the UK to North Carolina was cheaper than the US store.

What was the shipping and did you pay any import duties?

$256 shipped to my door. No duty or fees. I did the shipping estimate for the US store and it was at least $20 more. Doesn't really sound like a lot, but when it's a matter of one web site over another that's an easy $20 to save.

Which version is this frame, which dropouts?
