Think I'm gonna go for the V2 TBH in black ano , but raw looks good too , it just scratches up too easily for my liking .

teal inbred, size 18". -1 degree slackset headset, 2.4 and 2.25 in. On-One tires on 28mm rims (22.8mm internal). Dropper post, flat pedals, short stem and wide handlebars in a short travel AM friendly kind of build. very happy for the moment except for the paint, which is rubbish

    Very nice.

My wife is only 5', and her current bike is terrible, so I've been thinking of building her an Inbred to match mine. I wasn't sure if the 14" frame would be a good size or not.

Has your daughter had a chance to try hers out, and how tall is she (if you don't mind my asking)?

'11 swap out Inbred 9 speed

Just finished the build but could lose a few inches off the brake lines, 110mm of coil plush up front.

Previous months build showing again looong brake lines that need attention. Converted the swap-out above from SS to 1x9 because of this build. With the weather and a newborn this year...I'm been in build mode impatiently waiting.

Looks like a Project321 Lefty conversion to me. Good to see someone else doing this with their Inbred 29er. (I thought I was the only one)

Correct about the P321 connection  Jake even sourced a ti spring for me last year.A 29er was the original plan, was going to use a dlr2 I had with limited travel for a 29er conversion but never reused the hubs to build up the big hoops. The rlc on there now can't be limited like the air lefty's.

I guess I'm a luddite, three 26inch builds in the last year. The missing one being a green summer season I built up a few months back. Hell I still have canti's on two bikes.

I've seen your rig, very nice :D

Phone shots like mine suck and always seem to cause distortions.

What travel is your fork set at and how does it handle? Also, how tall are you and how does the frame fit you as I'm considering this frame as well.

Fork is a 100mm Reba RLT with Pop-lock, but I ride with a 25% of sag. I am 1.84m tall, and the frame fits perfectly to me. I come from a L size Niner Scandium Air9, and the 18" of the Inbred 29er is for sure the right size for me. The frame handles very well, perhaps more rigid than confy (I have expected more softer reactions). I like so much the geometry, and how it helps uphill in spite of his high weight. Really, coming up, still with two Maxxis Ardent LUST, it is not a big problem, but surprisingly pleasant. The geometry on 18" applies some weight on the front wheel, and, perhaps, the right stem is into 60 and 80 mm for a better feel on turns (actually I have a 90mm stem). You do not will be disappointed if you try it.

Cool-blue Rhythm New On One Scandal 26er

Hi Just finished off this 16" Scandal 26er for my son used most of the parts off my old cannondale rush. Need to swap FD for high mount one instead of low will get to that eventually for now he'll clock up some km's
First race on it is Friday night 1hr enduro for him.
He's pretty stoked as it's ~ 4kg lighter than the bike he had been using and much better geo for going up hills

I've put the lefty on the inbred as a trial - Ive now got a Scandal 29er frame to build up with the lefty and the inbred will go back to rigid front end

Nice rim colour choice. I approve. Here I am on my way to a 2nd place finish in Cat2 CCCX XC last year:

Interested in this too. My wife is 5' and I have been trying to get her into mtbing but finding a friend with a bike that will fit her has been fruitless and I want her to enjoy the trails on something other than her 90lbs walmart special. Would love to get her a 29er but they dont make an xs Inbred...

    Nice looking stable of On-Ones!!!

Project321 (Welcome to PROJECT 321 - Manufacturer of High-Quality Aftermarket Accessories for Your Bicycle, Automobile, Motocross Bike and Quad) is where I got my Lefty fork and the green anodised Stan’s Arch EX 29er wheels. Project321 can anodise them in any colour you would like. I originally favoured the idea of going with purple hubs and rims but it would have taken an extra 4 weeks—I was in a hurry to get them ready in time for a couple proper shakedown rides before my next few races. Purple components seem hard to come by though. Used to be a more common colour to find on bike parts back in the 1990s.

    Cheers
    Im in Austarlia
Local agent for Project 321 has the anno crests but not arches
I don't think a crest woudl be good for me as a rear wheel front would be OK
Like I said the blunts are coated and it's coming off. Other than that happy with Blunts
Shipping of rims from US these days seems pretty crazy prices - more than price of rims!

Here's mine. 18" Inbred 29 with Xfusion Slide and 1x10. Weighs in at 26.25 lbs.

Lots of room for larger tires...

And this is a very nice touch...the seat tube notch is in front so you can run your seat clamp in a normal looking position if you are using a carbon post...

I don't have a pic to post...yet. Maybe some of you On One vets can help change that. I'm selling my XL Surly 1x1 frame and moving to a Inbred 26" SS. The 1x1 didnt have enough standover, and didnt feel "flickable". I'm torn between the 18" or the 20" size. I'm about 6'2" with a 32-33" inseam, and about 185 lbs. I do have fairly long arms. Any suggestions?

I'm 6' and ride a 18" inbred (slot dropout) with an inline post and 90mm*0deg stem, it feels perfect. I think your height determines your choose to the 20" size of the inbred.

Any suggestions?
I'm the exact same height and weight as you with the exact same inseam measurement. Long arms is all relative I guess but for what its worth I'm a 35 shirt sleeve size. I've owned three 26" Inbred frames and all three were 20" frames. The long top tube (with a 70mm stem) plus the fact that I don't have to set the bike up with a mile of seatpost were the main reasons I went with the bigger frame size.

Thank you, that's extremely helpful. How much seat post do you have hanging out? You don't happen to have a pic do you?

Lots of room for larger tires...

And this is a very nice touch...the seat tube notch is in front so you can run your seat clamp in a normal looking position if you are using a carbon post...
Just bought the same fork and about to by the same frame (Teal), but how do you like the fork and 18 in frame paired together? How does it ride?
