The frame is 20 inch, the 2010 Inbred Summer Season. really, really enjoying it. It usually takes me many rides for a bike to feel like an extention of my body, this one only took a couple. I did a bit of research on what I wanted in a bike vs. the $ I had to invest in one. (this was bike #4)

This Frame was what I was looking for, I started pricing out a build and found pretty much the this bike for sale at 1/2 the price it was going to take me to build it. So I purchased it and made a few small upgrades.

My new blowout coupon SS. It's a temporary parts bin build till the good stuff comes in.

Since this pic I've already moved to a wider, lower rise bar and put on a Jump Stop while I wait for my guide.

Okay, so I'm not the only one with the flagpole seat post length. I have a 400mm seat post, looks like you do too?

So far so good. With a few battle scars, the bike is going to look even better though.

Yep. Tried a 350mm but I'd need to run it at the ragged edge to get barely adequate leg extension.

Since I'm over on the east coast for another couple weeks and most of the trails I've done so far require a ton of pedaling, I figured I'd be better off with a flagpole.

I just finished building up this 456 Summer Season for my 11 year old daughter. Aside from the shifters, seatpost, and pedals, everything came from my parts bin.

Build weight is 28.8lbs, size is 14".

Ha! I almost ran out of spacers when I was building it up. The plan is to slam the stem and keep 15-20mm of steerer exposed above that.

I also added a seatpost clamp, which I think was a pretty nice thing to do.

    another Inbred 29er

Here is another Inbred 29er. Big tires and brakes. Front is a Specialized Purgatory 2.4 rear is a Eskar 2.3 ...Avid Brakes 203/180 ...the front tire just rubs the fork a tad when really mashing hard on it. ...but it really floats right over the sand washes.

Really fun bike. I love it !

You helped sell me on that frame. I've been thinkin about picking that up from the site. Even though it would be sitting in my garage just as a frame for several months as I slowly acquire parts to bolt on! I wanted a steel frame in white and the price...well you can't beat the price. 230 shipped! How's it handle?

Still getting used to it after almost 2mos, but it's above and beyond what my alum stout was. Just springy and lively enough to make it lively and fun and the carbon fork/bars/sp/stem help take a little of the jarring effect out when it gets rooty and rocky. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about it. It's fast, climbs like a goat, corners great and is overall quicker in every way than my previous rigid single-speed.

Overall it's my 90% bike. The other 8% is reserved for my DH bike on lift-assisted parks and I save 2% for my trusty old HT freeride bike at the moto track behind the house.

Another Inbred to add to the mix. The swap outs are a really cool addition to the frame.
