New Inbred Build

Finished it last night. This was my first build from scratch. What a blast! First dirt (frozen mud actually) will be tomorrow. Posted it on my blog mo7s.blogspot.com.

29" wheels. First ride was yesterday. Smooth ride, probably combination of steel frame, flexy wheelset (Easton XC One), and large volume tires (2.4s). Handling was nimble on tight singletrack, and stable on fast downhills. Probably not the lightest bike in the stable (haven't weighed it yet) but it sure felt quick, probably the light wheels/tires. Tubess conversion should reduce rotational weight even further.

My buddy also picked up an Inbred frame (29") and built it up 1x9. First ride was also yesterday, he was similarly excited.

Will take a few more rides to dial it in (and build up my SS legs), but at this point I am stoked.
