    New 456 evo2 build

I recently finished a 456 evo2 build and this is the result!

    The build is as follows:

    Frame - 456 Evo2 raw finish XL
    Fork - NOS 2007 Manitou Travis 150
Wheels - Chris King hubs, Mavic 819 rims and DT spokes
Brakes - Hope Tech M4 with braided steel lines
Crank - Race Face Atlas AM with 37 tooth blue anodized Chromag ring
Rear Derailleur - Shimano XT shadow 10 speed
Rear shifter - Shimano Zee 10 speed
Cassette - Shimano XT 10 speed
    Seatpost - Rock Shox Reverb
Handlebar - Spank Spike 777 evo
    Stem - Thomson Elite
Headset - FSA Orbit MX pro
    Saddle - WTB Silverado

I've taken the bike on a handful of rides and so far, it seems very agile and well planted. It's a little on the heavy side with this build but it's bomb proof...I'm really liking it so far.

    Thanks for reading.

Thanks...haha, I'm about 193cm. I know, every bike I've ever owned ends up looking a little funny with the seat so high but the reverb is really awesome when it comes to transitions and downhill sections...don't think I'll ever build another bike without a dropper.

It's more the stem that concerns me ! You could hang a line off the end of that thing and go deep sea fishing..... Surely you could go shorter (which combined with wide bars should give you enough breathing room) ?

I know it's quite long for this style of bike (100mm) I could go to maybe 80 or 70...I have very long arms and legs so I don't want to go too short and feel cramped up.
