    Lurcher setups

I just received my frame and I am still putting pieces together to complete the build. I am curious to how others are building their Lurchers along with the weight of the complete build. I'll start:

    Frame: 19.5"
    Fork: TBD
    Cranks: Shimano XT 2x10
    F.Der: Shimano SLX
    R.Der: Shimano XT
Cassette: Shimano XT 11-36 10 spd
    Brakes: Shimano SLX M666
    Stem: On-One 60mm
Bars: Crank Brothers Cobalt 11 740mm
    Seat post: X-Fusion Hilo 100mm
    Seat: old WTB
    Wheels: TBD
I'll post a pic once my build is complete.

There's a post down the page with some pics and builds

I'm running mine SS with nice parts (except for the bb7 brakes, soon to be replaced) and large tires (2.4 ardent/mtn king) and she sits about 23 lbs. (Reba, kings/arches, XTR cranks, etc)

I love my bike, great responsive ride and wonderfully stiff under power. Handles great with a 65mm stem.
    what would rainbow unicorn do?

All I got is a 19.5" frame at this point, aside from a Smoothie Mixer and Shimano BB. Thinking of taking the sweet WTB i23/CK wheels off my SS 29er Inbred to get the Lurcher rolling.

Will probably have Steve at SRLPE build a wheelset with WTB i19 rims and CK ISO hubs.

Does anyone have suggestions for a light 100mm fork (preferably with tapered steerer) for the Lurcher? Hopefully a fork that does not cost more than my car?

BTW can I use a regular seatpost clamp on this carbon frame? Any do's and don'ts?

    Thanks for any help!

My steel 29er SS Inbred weighs 23 pounds with a rigid carbon eXotic fork, Mary bars, a fairly stout tubeless wheelset and no other carbon parts.

Anyone know the weights of Lurchers that are out there so far -- geared and SS?

    The setup so far:
    Lurcher 16" frame
    3T seatpost with Gobi seat
Fox F29 100mm fork with CTD damper
    CK headset
    Ritchey 90m 4axis stem
    Easton MLXC bars, 680mm
    Cane Creek bar ends
    2x10 XT drivetrain
Elixir CR brakes with 185 rotor front, 160 rotor rear
    XTR race pedals
Stans Crests on e.13 XCX+ hub rear, on e.13 TRS+ hub front, laced with CX-Rays

Tires?? probably Renegades, RaRas or RoRos.

    Weight? aiming towards 22lbs...
    power matters
