Good job! Lurcher + Rohloff - Chainline question

Just Rohloffed my Lurcher for the summer season in the mountains, so far so good.

I have a doubt about the chainline.

In my previous build, a Scandal with external BB, Shimano HT2, I was using a SLX triple with a single chainring in the outer position, as Rohloff recommends a 54 mm chainline and the outer position should be the closest to that.

Now I am using the same chainset on the Lurcher, but with the ring in the middle position (coming from a nexus 3).

Eyeballing it looks just straight, also measuring with a metal ruler it looks fine.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Anybody using the Rohloff with the Lurcher care to share their setup?

Why should you change from outer to middle position on your crancks ?
Singlespeeders know all about the perfect chainline, search the singlespeed forum how to measure your chainline.

Your bb shell width is different between the two frames. 68mm for the scandal vs 92 for the lurcher.
