    Inbred seatpost length?

    Hello everyone,

I just picked up a 18" Inbred frame in the 26" wheel size. I need to get a seatpost for the bike but am unsure what length I should get. I am 5'11" and have about a 34" inseam. Can anyone tell me if a 350mm seatpost is long enough?

    Thanks

I'd say a 350 would probably work but you would use all of it. I'd go longer.
I'm 6'1" but have the same 34" inseam.
A 350mm seatpost will have around 250mm useable.
    My 19.5 29er Inbred has 220mm seat post showing. In theory, on a 18 I'd have 250.
Other than a bit extra weight, more seatpost in the frame is a good thing.

Something I don't understand and will have to look at, on my 18" 29er Inbred, I'm using 270mm of seatpost, 20mm more than I would expect.

I think I am going to see if I can find a deal on a 400mm post then. They seem to be more expensive

I actually just found this FSA seatpost for a nice price. May go ahead and get it.
