Inbred 29er rack mounts??

From those who have used a rack on their inbred 29ers (particularly the vertical dropouts):

Were the threads clean on the mounts? Paint or other issues?

Any other issues or things you had to work through?

Well, I took a chance and bought one.

Frame looks awesome.
Rack/fender mounts do have over spray, and will have to be chased.
BB, inside of seat tube and inside of head tube look good to go.

Never having used a tap, I watched a couple videos on youtube on how to use a tap, and read Sheldon Browns (RIP man) page on using taps.

Tool Tips--Taps

Couple bucks on a 5mm x .8 tap and handle, and cleaning the threads was a piece of cake. Threads are now smooth as silk.

Frame looks awesome, cant wait to get the rest of the build going!!
