    Inbred 29er with older REBA?

I have an older Reba on my Monocog and have been contemplating the new Inbred 29er. Only think is, my Reba is the older one with the 39mm offset. How do you think it would handle on the Inbred? I think they have the same headtube angle but not positive. Thanks for any advice. Oh, can I use BB7's on a medium?

i also had an older reba from a monocog flight as well as a g2 fox. i have on-ones carbon fork on the inbred, but tried both the reba and the fox once. disliked the reba. it felt very sluggish. it was better on the monocog, but it was never especially impressive to me. the fox felt much quicker, and i have it as a backup for when i want suspension. but your experience might be different than mine and like i said, my impressions are from just one ride on each.

i have bb7s on the inbred. a solution for me was to use 8" rotors. not that i needed more braking power, but it gives me some room in the back. hope that helps.

BB7 with 185mm rotor worked with plenty of room on my L frame.

What length travel were you planning on running with your Reba? I used my Inbred for two years with a 100mm Tora with the old offset and I liked how it handled. "Sluggish" to some is "stable" to others. Like snowdenn said, personal preference can make all the difference

Just changed an old Reba to On-One carbon fork with more offset and definitely like the handling more now. Feels more flickable and it doesn't feel like it's understeering all the time.

I have an 18" Inbred 29er and BB7s with 160mm rotors work just fine.

Really? I had to replace the cabling bolt with a hex head in order to tighten it.
I have since replaced the brakes with Elixirs.

I have older reba 29er on my Inbred (I think is a 2007) and it works fine, in face I love the handling.
