"Height challenged" folks on 16" Scandal 29?

Finally convinced my wife to make the jump to 29" wheels and we're planning on building a V2 Scandal 29. She's about 5'5" and has been riding a Trek Fuel EX 9 WSD for the last few years. The seat tube of her current ride is 17" and the ETT is about 22.5". The 16" Scandal looks about the same size - slightly shorter seat tube, slightly longer ETT. Anybody 5'6" (167 cm) or shorter riding a 16" Scandal 29?

I'm 5'5" & have been riding one rigid & ss for years. I love it. I love it enough to be building a Lurcher 1x10 in the coming weeks. I'll still be riding the Scandal regularly on the smoother terrain, though. Plenty of standover & the reach to the bars doesn't feel long at all. I bet she'll love it . -Good luck!

Excellent. Her new frame (16" raw) should be here today or tomorrow!

She's already ridden more in the last two weeks than she did all last year. Every time she gets back from a ride she thanks me profusely (which makes for a better home life....)
