El Mariachi vs Inbred SS

Salsa El mariachi Salsa Cycles | Bikes | El Mariachi 2 for 2013 changed the geometry. Looking at inbred geo is it the updated geometry the #'s are differant? Local shop said salsa new specs makes for a better ride. What do you think? Frame and fork is $650 for salsa. I would like to try a steel frame.

You would likely be better off asking for comparisons in the single speed forum.
From what I see, the El Mariachi frame is $699 plus fork cost.
Geometry is very similar - 71° head angle, 73° seat angle.
For the large frame:
Standover is about 13 mm more on the Inbred, reach is almost identical, stack is 15mm lower on the Inbred, almost everything else is very close.
El Mariachi has hi-tech dropouts.

Inbred will run around $250 plus fork.
