Would you still recommend this frame. I really trust your judgment.

I'm an average, painfully average 5'9" tall. What size DD should I get?

Get the medium, or 54cm. I'm also 5'9" and my 54 DD is perfect.

Im looking one of these as well, waiting for the 54cm completes to come back in stock.

Might go the $300 upgrade option for the Planet-X tubular carbon wheels as the 29er reet-ards are not much use to me.

Alright, I went to the site and pre-order for the 17th July dispatch was available. Ordered !

I see the wheels have changed from reet-ards to Mach 1 Shimano wheels. The Palnet-x tubs are out of stock so i'll look at them some other time.

Looking forward to getting this bike ! Been flatland singlespeeding it on a dropbar 29er in this wet season to "save the trails", i'll be able to get some hills happening now.

Still has the threaded bb. If you run it ss you'll have to use a tensioner. But alibaba has those frames direct from manufacturer w bb30 if you want.

But the Planet X comes w/pf30

At 5'10" On One advise the 54cm frame. Any 5'10" owners of DD's here who can confirm that this is the correct size for use as anoff road gravel bike. Thanks, Brian.

I am 5'10 (31" inseam) and I have a 54 DD> I am about to replace it with a 56. It is a tad too small (for my liking) but I can see how many might be ok with it like that. It was a close call.

    Just ordered a Planet X XLS Shimano in size 54 - I am 5'9.5"

I know that this thread is for the DD, but I read many reviews that reported the Mach1 wheel set that came as standard on the bike is not really up to much - so on a whim (and as I wanted to go tubeless anyway) opted for the 'Selcof tubeless' upgrade for ~60Euro more. Wondering if anyone has any experience of this wheelset with from SLX or DD purchases?

Either way I guess I find out next week when the bike is delivered!

Still riding a steel Fisticuff, but I hope one day soon I will get a medium disco frameset to complete the On-One set.

I sold mine about 6 months ago, rode that bike for 18 months and according to strava, clocked 8800km on it. I never replaced anything in anger apart from the stretched chain 2-3 times and replaced the rear gear cable once due to living in a dusty climate. I never even removed the cranks for cleaning or to tighten the original BB, it was a creak free, hassle free bike from the start.

It was ~8.5kg (18.7lb) in the pic, the rims are 50mm deep aero's and not the lightest. Front derailleur removed, double chain ring swapped for a raceface W/N, ashima rotors, carbon post, Romin seat and tubeless tyres. I also ran this bike as a winter training bike with 28c slicks on it.

It was a great buy and with the distance I covered on it, the best dollars spent per kilometre of any bike I have ever owned and probably ever will.
