    carbon 456 cable housing

Question: Can you run full cable housing on the carbon 456 frame? I don't like cables being exposed in muddy conditions.

I was thinking of putting on full-length on mine for next winter, it'll just mean drilling out some material in the cable stops. (or just cable tying the outer on) But for now i'll just leave it untill these cables/housing need to be replaced

What Joe said, you would have to drill holes in the cable stops under the top tube. Since the down tube is so massive, chances of getting mud in the cables is fairly small IMHO.

Here is a (poor) picture of the underside of the top tube. From the left: RD cable, FD cable, rear brake cable. The cable stops are riveted to frame and painted over.

I see what you mean... Damn why couldn't they just do the same thing they did for the brake cable?
