I'm on a 60mm stem but super wide bars and I dont feel cramped at 6'3" (on a 20" frame)

Current bars are 740mm and The 50mm stem.

Maybe I'm just use to my XC setup 29er.

    I will say I'm going down to a 760mm bar from a 780 (mostly because they're yellow!)

Those of you who are 5'9 and went with 18", do you wish you had the 16"? I will be using mine for all mtn with a 140mm xfusion on the front. I ride an 18" giant trance x with 26" wheels but looking at the geo chart of the on one, the top tube on my 18" trance is the same as the top tube on the 16" on one.

I'm just scared i may be too stretched out but i have no idea.
There's something about those long grueling climbs that gets my front end all stiff... And I'm not talking about lockout...

I'm 5'10 and riding an 18" with 40mm stem and 720 bars and my saddle quite far forward in the seat rails. It is a fun bike but I could definitely ride a 16" comfortably and run wider bars because I'm used to riding a medium SC Solo with 50mm/730mm bars.

You could swing either way and be happy. I bought mine bigger so other mates could ride it and it's more XC friendly as I have the solo for bigger jump tracks .etc

Another persons fit isn't going to help you at all, especially if your in between sizes. I'm 5'9" and ride the 18" with a 60mm. Fits like a glove with saddles rails dead center. In my case a 16" would have been a mistake.

Same here. 5'9" on an 18 with a 50mm stem. I was wishing for a 17" when I ordered but I went big and its perfect.

Hmm. I'm 5'9 with long legs and short torse/reach. Maybe the 18" with a short stem would suffice.

Since I removed my On One decals, the probibility of them exchanging my frame is very slim.

Guess I'm just going to ride it. It doesnt feel terrible at all.

Should be done this weekend. Unbelievably excited about this build. 140mm x fusion velvet, 1x10 with a race face narrow wide.

Debating weather I should just use a clutch derailleur or use my non clutch with a bionicon c guide.

My clutch is currently on my 2x10 full suspension.

    Any ideas?

Run the 1x10 with the clutch and the 2x10 with the non clutch, seems logical? I run a race face nw on mine with a non clutch slx rd ans even that refuses to drop chain.

Could somebody measure inner width of chain stays? For example 1, 2, 3 and 4 inch behind the bottom bracket. The question is how wide 26" tire can be mounted to 45650B frame?

My apologies if this question has been asked/answered already but is it possible to install a fork with a straight 1.5" steerer tube on the 45650B?

    Thanks!

That's a good question. I know you can run tapered using an external bottom cup (EC44). I wonder if you could use the same for the top? I really don;t see why it wouldn't work considering the headtube ID is the same through.

Yes. Straight or tapered. I have a straight steerer.

Any head tube that will accommodate a tapered fork will accommodate a straight steerer by changing the bottom cup of the headset (I'm sure there are exceptions, but that's the general rule). On the 45650b, you can run a tapered fork on an external cup lower headset and a straight steerer in either an external cup or inset. Though I don't see any reason top run an inset unless you had maybe a 160mm straight steerer fork as the frame it's designed for up to 150

    So for straight steerer
    zs44/28.6 ec44/30
Though you could use zs44/28.6 zs44/30 as mentioned above, but it would just lower you're geo a bit

    And for tapered
    zs44/28.6 ec44/40

He was asking about a 1.5" straight steerer. vs the more common 1-1/8th.

    Bahaha

My bad. Then yes, as long as they make an ec44/38.1 top cup

    Like this, I think.
