    2.3" tire on 29er inbred

as per title, I am looking to fit some mtb tires to my inbred.
now, any suggestions what I could buy? 2.3 or even 2.4 as I am looking for some "plush".

    thank you

I have run 2.4 Continental Mountain Kings in mine, but needed to be pulled back a tad in the horizontal dropouts to clear the FD. I now run 2.2 X-Kings all the way up front

mmm I see. I run singlespeed, so I rather avoid having limitations with the dropouts movements....

    thank you!

the limitation is only with respect to the FD.... I used the 2.4" as singlespeed without issues.

The issue was only when I added gears afterwards

The Smorgasbord 2.25 is a high volume casing. Lots of cush.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

one more thing concerning Smorgasbords, would they work tubeless on ztr crests? (with tape and liquid, of course)

I've used the Rampage 2.35 without problems.
    After modification of the FD...
With singlespeed there is no problem used all sorts of rear tires.
Mud clearance could be better though.

Don't see why there would be a problem making the Smorgasbords tubeless. Only Conti Supersonics are a pita.
