    Your favorite "first world problem"

    Hope this isn't a repeat.

Post your favorite first world problem - said or heard.

    I'll admit - said:

"I poured a bowl of cereal before checking if we had milk....we didn't"

    Heard/read:

"I don't have enough dip for my chips. But if I open another container, I won't have enough chips for my dip"

I hear them all the time!

Customer - "I have a heat pump, and the outdoor unit won't run, I have no heat"

Me - "Ok, I will get out to you as soon as I can, in the meantime, there is a switch on your thermostat that says "Em. Heat". Switch it to that, and the auxiliary electric heater banks will kick on, so at least the house will maintain temperature until I can make it out"

Customer - "But isn't that really expensive to run?"

I hear something to that effect all the time. I guess they should just go without heat altogether, rather than have to spend a few extra dollars (5-8 at most usually) for a day or two.

That chip/dip one sounds like a stoner problem.

A buddy asked how I got that scratch on a new bike of mine, I said " My cleaning lady knocked it over and it hit the fireplace in my bedroom"
I'm sick of all the Irish stereotypes, as soon as I finish this beer I"m punching someone

    Well done.

I overheard a co-worker say "the heated seats in my car get too hot"

"I don't have any clothes." This happens while my wife peers into her closet full of clothes.

Same here...I'd ride road, but I don't want to wear out my expensive MTB tires.
All I need are some tasty trails, cool bike, and I'm fine.

I have more work than I can get done at the moment and it's getting a bit stressful. Of course my problems pale in comparison to the problems of my customers who won't get their Rolexes back in time to have them on their wrists while opening their Christmas presents.

    Dick Cheney.

Shooting Harry Whittington on a TX quail hunt in 2006 and botching the heck outta covering it up speaks volumes about his political escapades!

First world problem of all time:

Your biggest problem is 8 years old and doesn't involve you or anyone you know.

( If you are Harry Whittington himself then I apologize).

This. And oh, due to DVR's I can't watch commercials, or even live TV anymore, if I don't have any DVR time, I just pause it. I can't stand it when I'm watching somewhere with no DVR, how do you pause or rewind? Downright uncivilized.
