I didn't take the time to write it down, but I can tell you I answer introvert to about 20 questions. I've always self identified as an introvert.

Would an Inxtrovert be a person who is both an Introvert and an Extrovert at the same time?

I think that would be a conflict of interests and would therefore rip the universe apart in a violent supernova/black hole coincidence.

    And my answers:
    1. I. Duh. I wasn't aware that anyone actually enjoyed small talk.
    2. E. I don't go to parties often, but I do enjoy meeting new people.
    3. I/E. Mostly depends on the circumstances.
    4. I. Example A: I have a LinkedIn account, but I have like five contacts on it because I don't like the idea of networking.
    5. I/E. Once again, depends on the subject. I don't really have much time for reading or watching, though.
    6. E. I definitely need many things to do for me to feel engaged.
    7. E! Hate downtime! See above ^
    8. I. Much easier to talk to a group than to any one person in particular.
    9. I! I naturally gravitate towards the back of a room, especially in big lecture halls and such.
    10. ??? Weird question.
    11. N/A 'cause I ain't got no girlfriend. But thinking of the girls that I've dated, it seems like a pretty even mix of introverts/extroverts.
    12. E. Especially at school, I'm not too interested in any one subject in particular, but I'd like to learn a bit about as much as possible. Part of the reason for my interdepartmental major and minor, so that I can take more classes in more diverse subjects than if I had a standard major that was run by only one department.
    13. I. On the rare occasion that I go to shows, it's so that I don't have to do anything.
    14. I. Not just calls, but pretty much all forms of non-personal communication. I'm not that great at getting back to people right away, even when I'm not preoccupied.
    15. I. Definitely.
    16. I. Almost always got something going on in the back of the mind.
    17. I. But I'm also an athlete. And I'm young. The mentioned study is reaching for threads at best, IMO. Especially in Japan, which is traditionally noted as a much more introverted, submissive culture.
    18. I. I've had the example comments thrown at me a couple times.
    19. E? Maybe... Depending on the circumstances.
    20. I. Definitely more interested in generalities and concepts than specifics.
    21. I. Many, many times.
    22. I. Don't like writing, but I've been told that my writing is extremely good. My talking, not so much.
    23. I. Weird question though. It would seem that those Es would have some sort of similar cycle.

Final tally says I'm an introvert, but not much. Makes sense enough. It makes more sense to see it as sort of a scale than as an absolute, anyways.
I've made some bad decisions like taking the gears off my bike. So here's the warning: Do not as I say, nor as I do.

Umm, since most of us spend all our time on internet forums, the survey is nearly pointless. However, I am kinda surprised by the number of "E"s some of you have in your profile.

Yeah, but we're on the internet socializing. I don't think you could accuse anybody with thousands of posts of being an introvert.

I was about an even split. That just means I'm well rounded.

Funny thing about the talking to a group. I can public speak like nobody's business, but one on one in a social situation can be a chore. Go figure.

My wife is hellishly introverted on all levels.... so I'm the extrovert in our relationship.

You have something against Extroverts? They are natural born leaders, developers, inventors... they rule the world and guide the rest of us along the path of life.

20 out of 23. My wife is a huge extrovert, and we have a hard time seeing eye to eye on things. This kinda explains alot.

But i do force myself to work in jobs that encourage meeting people. But i tend to perfer the company of my dog over most people.

I know an extremely introverted guy that manages a staff of Media tech guys. He has a sign on his desk that says: "Visitors: Be Creative, Be Brief, Be Gone"

    Hmmm...

    noun
    ˈpərvərt/
    1.
a person whose sexual behavior is regarded as abnormal and unacceptable.
    synonyms: degenerate; More

Around these parts, that would make you pretty degenerate...
