The Worst Blown Chess Game I Ever Saw

The White player in this game below has a habit of getting into hopeless positions and then all of a sudden finding a counterattack that upsets the game. Even though he's only an expert, rated around 2000-2050 USCF, I've seen him beat many masters with his fearless and chaotic style. But in this game he should have lost for sure. Black got too cocky. Sorry I had to modify this twice, I'm going by 10-year old memory.

    https://www.chess.com/analysis-board-editor

d4 d5
c4 c6
Nf3 Qc7 an unusual move this early in the game, preparing ...e5
g3 Nd7
Bg2 e5
dxe5 Nxe5
Nxe5 Qxe5 I like the early challenge in the center for Black
0-0 Bd6
Nc3 d4
Ne4 Bc7 White playing Bf4 would have also been strong
b4 Ne7!?
(11a) ...d3 threatens ...Qxa1 but White can simply play Rb1 and Bb2. If White then played ...dxc2 on move 12 then Qxc2 f5? (looks like it wins the Knight on e4 but 13 Bf4! Black's Queen has no where to go but stay on the e-file and move to e6 or e7, either way when White plays Bxc7 Black will lose at least a piece because Nd6++ or Nf6++ is double-check.
(11b)...Nf6 instead of ...Ne7 would also be a good move to trade off Knights and get Black's Queen off the dangerous e-file. But Black has a more sinister plan: castle first, play ...Ng6, and then have a mating attack soon
Bb2 0-0 The d4 pawn is lost. Black is behind in development and can't bother trying to defend it.
Bxd4 Qh5 the mating attack begins
Nc3 Ng6
c5?! Bg4
Bf3?! Qh3! now White should immediately play Bg2 again but...
e4?? Nh4! Either White loses his queen or is checkmated two ways:
    (17a) Bxg4 Qg2# or (17b) gxh4 Qh2#
Bh1 Bxd1 Bh1 is the only move to avoid checkmate at g2
Raxd1 And the game is over. White still can't play gxh4 because of Qh2# and all Black needs to do is put a rook on the d-file, play h6 for a King escape square, trade rooks, and that's it he's done. Black got cocky and played Bxg3, didn't trade rooks, White gets out of checkmate later, and ends up with a mating threat against the Black king anyway. The Black player, when he saw the game was lost later against him, smashed the pieces on the board and stormed out of the club for a few minutes. Just because someone has winning material doesn't mean they can sit back. They need to finish the game by forcing piece trades.
...Bxg3?
fxg3 Ng6 The mating attack is over. Black can still win but ...Bxg3 a waste.
Rf5 Rad8 Black doesn't see his own Queen is now close to being trapped.
Bf3 Rfe8
Nc2! Ne5 Kh1 and Ng1 will eventually trap the Black Queen
Bg2 Qh6
Nf4 g6
Rf6 Qg7
Rd6! Rxd6 or Ba1! and too many pins on Black's pieces
cxd6 Rd8
Ba1!Qf6
Nd3 Nf3+ Black must absolutely get his Queen back into the game or the d-pawn will Queen
Bxf3 Qxf3
Nf2! Qa3 Nf2 protects both the Rook and the e4 pawn
Bf6! Rd7 If you are new to chess this is called excellent positional play
Be7 Qxa2 Black's only hope is to munch pawns on the Queenside and then try to march one of her own down to Queen. The problem is that the Queen is now away from critical squares in the center of the board.
Ng4! Qe2
Nf6+ Kh8
Rf1 Qe3+
Rf2 Rxd6 the Anaconda constricts a bit more
Bxd6 Qc3
e5 Qa1+
Kg2 a5
bxa5 Qxa5
Ne8 Kg8
Kh3! Qe1 by moving his King White prepares the final attack without being checked
Rf6 Qe2
Rf4 b5 ...Qh5+?? (46) Rh5 and then after Nf6+, then Rxh7 checkmate
Nc7 Qb2
e6! fxe6
Nxe6 Black resigns. The next move would be Rf8 checkmate, or ...Qg7 Nxg7 and Black loses his Queen

Chess is the best board game ever invented. It's a fantastic game. I used to play it quite a lot but I haven't played a game in years. I don't know anyone who likes to play it.

I think that White at the time was around 2000 USCF and Black was around 1700 UCSF. I have both won and lost multiple times against both opponents in other games. I'll have to think of my "best" game. I don't play it anymore really too depressing to lose, especially when losing to 12-yr old kids that call up their mom after the tournament and say "Mommy! Mommy! I won $100 off the adults, can you pick me up for soccer practice now?" Also the area where I played was REALLY bad, a lot of drugs and homeless people. One of the outside casual players was convicted of murdering his wife, I tried to stay away from that POS. Also, there was a dead homeless body about 10 feet away from my parked car one summer, the cops motioned me to drive away, as in they had very morbid business to attend to at my parking space. I never saw the body, it was under one of those tarped stolen shopping carts. Makes mountain biking look safe.

Speak for yourself. White obviously was rolling on 27.5 while black was still on 26.
