    it horrible, heart goes out to the families of the missing. they might never find the bodies because of the fire.

    That sucks.. Thoughts go to the families and friends. Too bad there is minimal coverage here in the states. I have only heard a snip-it about this.

    If that happened in the US the drive-by media would have 48 confirmed dead and the entire town destroyed because a train derailed after someone with an assault rifle shot out the tires.

    That is truly terrible and I hope they find the missing and console the lost ones family.

    My God that is a horrific accident. I can't believe it's not worse as far as loss of life is concerned. I watched a witness explain the sequence of events. Unbelievable!!!

    The downtown center of Lac Megantic has played host to the Canadian Road Cycling Championships for the last few years. Cycling Canada has started a relief fund for Lac Megantic.

    It is sad, they say some of the people may not be found due to the bodies being incinerated in the blast. I feel sorry for those families for it will be hard for them to get closure.
