    Time Lapse

I was browsing and had seen another post with a time lapse. I always thought they were fun or sometimes just interesting.

    Anyone want to share?

The Puffer will kill your other fish one by one. They're very aggressive and sneaky.

Turtle moves more than the dog!

How many pictures total is that first "Hana @ Home" video to get it to over five minutes??

I've been messin around with time lapses, too. This one, 307 images total, yielded a 15 second video. I guess it matters, too, the render settings (fps) you use to make the video.

Was over 6k images if I remember. It took a while to process. Was 9ish hours at 5 seconds an image. I just use gopros to do it.

How long was it until she got up and chose the couch as her main bed? The turtle was having a good old time.

One more question on the "Hana"...what's going on just to the left of the big picture behind the fish tank? It looks like something supernatural, but I'm guessing some kind of mobile hanging from the ceiling being blown about by the ceiling fan?

yea its a mobile. most people ask about the eyes on the wall lol. they were from an old billboard in Seattle. Im trying to find one I did several years ago during new years. we had the camera on time laps for hours.

I was wondering why it wasn't longer during the sunset mode.

another TL. this is Avalon harbor, Catalina last August. we are gonna sail out there this aug. I wanna bring my bike next time. Just need the permit for the island I guess. I might do a time laps of the sail out there but not a whole lot to see and not sure how to stabilize it on the boat. a TL of the sunset would be cool but might make you seasick.

Found my old time laps from New years several years ago. This was on our boat in San Diego. I didnt put the music together though....

It was so foggy there was no reason to see fireworks so we walked to the marina bar. There might be some ass cheeks in there.

Found another one, but unlike the first 6 I posted this was done purely with video, the others were all true time lapse with stills.

    I have more...

This one is a mix of live video and time lapse, I did it on my Saddle Sore Iron Butt ride last year(1000 miles in less than 24 hours on a motorcycle). Because it was going to be such a long day of riding I ran the time lapse setting at one picture for every 60 seconds. The actual time lapse portion starts around 1:40 in the video.

    https://youtu.be/Ig26HG64bcg

And one I did of my commute (former place of work) home via video time lapse:

Another video time lapse of a full days commute, morning and evening:
