Here's one from last year. I can see someone wanting to spend big $ for Elvis' Cadillac, guitar, etc, but soiled underwear? Really?

Elvis' Underwear Goes Up for Auction | Music News | Rolling Stone

Generally, I believe it's not my business to judge whether someone has too much money or not, but stuff like these make me question the sanity of some wealthy individuals.

Holy crap (pun intended), that's weird.

I think I was coming from the sanity angle more than the judgement of wealth, you worded it better than I.

As with most other things I believe us Aussies might top the list of Mad as a cut snake billionaires.

Clive Palmer is not only commissioning a rebuild of the Titanic he has just started his Political party for the upcoming elections in September after the existing party he tried to join didn't want a bar of him. The original name of the party was "The United Australia Party" couldn't be registered so it is now going to be called "The Palmer United PArty" Yep that's right, its a party for wankers.

Holy crap I clicked on this thread and had to stop before it opened [at work]. I shoved my phone in my pocket and a half hour later on my lunch I pulled my phone out to a NAKED B ARTHUR staring at me. Some how when my phone was in my pocket I pocket clicked on that link. It scared the hell out of me.

I'm sure that is about the last thing you expected. How about having that rack staring at you every morning when you wake up!

I was thinking that could be a problem as well. I think it would be more of a drop type of thing, ala Redbull Rampage style.

Fine art often bought as an investment. Historically not a bad investment. Certainly seems to have more intrinsic value than shiny metal or hard transparent minerals.

Very useful feature when you drive home from a long day of riding and start to doze off. Wakes you up. I wish my R-class came with it.

Undoubtedly a sound investment, especially since the painting is becoming somewhat of a cult piece of art. I wonder if the buyer will actually display the piece? "Fine" well I don't know about that.

Admittedly it's no Campbell's Soup Can, but it is a rack shot, so it's not all bad.
