The things that I have seen...

I've seen a man stabbed while watching out the window as I fell asleep…I was 9.

I've seen Stevie Ray Vaughn open for Hughy Lewis... My first live show; I was 12.

I've kissed the blarney stone...Scary.. . If you've done it you know.

I’ve seen the power of a Hurricane first hand…devastation everywhere.

I’ve seen the volcanos of Indonesia and the jungles of South America…the world is an amazing place.

I’ve seen my son born, believing I was ready for it….how little I knew..

I’ve seen my two girls born, each time again believing I was ready…not even close…

I've seen a child endure open heart surgery at 4 months... It sucks when it's your own…

I've felt the love of that same child 6 years later... It warms the heart and soul…

What I've seen... just little insignificant scenes of life…but it is those moments, good and bad, that make the whole thing worth it…

It was during the dead of winter in a crappy arse section of Boston. My bed was next to a window that looked out over the street and into the parking lot of the Star Market (grocery store). I remember it was snowing.

A lone guy was walking across the parking lot when he was approached by three others. They argued first...then a fist fight broke out. Lone guy ended up shoved halfway under (up to his waist) a chain link fence that bordered the lot.

The three guys were going to town on that dude....it was while he was pinned under the fence that he was stabbed in the gut.

The police showed up maybe a minute or two later, but not because of anything I had done. If it was today? Yeah..I'm making a call. But back then? This was around 79'-80' in Dorchester...I was around 9 years old and this sorta scene was common in that neighborhood.

I saw a dead guy hanging by the neck from a rope when I was a kid. I think his eyes were bulging to the point that they were close to popping out. He was a pretty shade of blue/green, too.

My friend who was a fire fighter saw all kinds of extreme GNARRR. He once sent me a picture of a victim who died in a car crash. His head was squished flat and brain matter was everywhere.

I too once thought I would be ready for the birth of my son, I had 9 months to prep right? It did not go as planned but he is truly freakin' awesome. Right now just chillin' at Children's after his palate repair couple days ago. I have seen much and hopefully will be allowed to see much more. Can't wait to take him for a bike ride.

1st non-chaperoned show was Bad Religion at 1st Ave. Perhaps the strangest show was Aphex Twin, Richard D James album tour. He came out on stage in pajamas and laid down with a laptop, pushed a few buttons once in while behind the 2 fluorescent green and pink dancing deady bears with cutouts of the dick james face from the album cover. That was a great show. Almost got to see Gwar. Would've loved to have seen Stevie Ray and the Beastie Boyz.

I would recommend the Alhambra, the Tower of London and the Louvre.

I've seen death, pain, alcoholism, and sorrow. I've also seen life, love, sobriety, happiness and beauty in the most unlikely places. Some of these things happened to those in front of me and some of these are personal experiences. I would see them all again as I am content in the present. However, I sometimes wish I could have dealt with them better.
Love what you did with that Bieber doll.
    No fuss with the MUSS
