i hate when you're laying in a quiet room...and you KNOW there's a mosquito buzzing around...you can slightly hear it but you cant see it. Its happening to me right now. I just cant relax. it WILL get me.

its like that spider you threw a shoe at, and it falls behind your bed. IT HASNT FORGOTTEN!

I know how to find(and kill) those annoying insects. Turn on the light and you will find them flying around. If they are not flying around they will be on the ceiling. If they are not on the ceiling, induce them to go to the ceiling(they always go to the ceiling), by waving something around at them like panties or underwear(conveniently located on the floor beside the bed). Once they are on the ceiling resting, they are easy to hit (with the same panties or underwear).

    Works every time.

As an added bonus, bloodstains on the ceiling give your bedroom guests something to wonder about.

I got family back in Michigan. The way they make it, the Skeeter is the state bird over there... and they carry off little kids...

The other day I went into the bathroom, and a small scorpion was crawling along the counter top. Needless to say, I took the little bastid out!

Get out of that swampland woman!

I hate them little bastid's!! Don't have any ticks round here though.

I guess it's a trade off. Scorpions, Rattlesnakes, and Black Widows. Or, Skeeters, Ticks, and Fleas. One side wants to bite and sting, the other just wants to suck your blood...

I could really spin out here, but since this is PG-13, I'll refrain.

yes, it ran up my arm, across my chest, and down my other arm. i had to go upstairs and sleep on the couch. i wasnt ever sleeping in that room again until the spider was found. i DID find it the next day, and i dont like killing them, so i caught it and put it outside. Stupid thing ended up building a web on the porch right above my head. Then one day it was gone...either dead, or........

while we're in "story time" let me say, my bedroom used to be basement-level, so the spiders would always find their way in, and sometimes end up in my bed.

one time i woke up because i thought i felt the crawlies in my "crotchel" area! i went back to sleep, but when i woke up the next morning, i rubbed my back and felt weird things. Turns out, i had a spider in my bed, i rolled over on it in my sleep, and there were spider bits stuck to my sheets and back. like, leg's and shyt. *pukes*

Ill add to your thread of greatness. There's only one type of bug/insect that bothers me. That would be the House Centipede.

Sent from my couch watching The Dead Files.

Same here. I'll get within 18" of a rattler to take a pic, but hate spiders. I won't kill a spider out of spite, but I don't like them at all.

We don't have too many mosquito here in the desert but we do have to watch for scorpions. We have these little pale ones that only grow about an inch long, but they can kill a grown person.

Importantly, is the snake fatter too? Pic actually looks like from the 60s vintage.

Yikes I nearly ran over one bombing down a path - jumped it on my race bike.

Seems most of us as spider haters - reminds me if a song:
