Sounds dirty. Would you go there?

The link of the day on the interwebs is this interactive map that appeals to 14 year olds and the OC:

LOL there's one near me. Big Beaver, PA. I'm about halfway between there & Big Knob. They should've called my town Taint.

It's funny you should post this SD, I did go to some of these places once, just because they sounded dirty, and I had nothing better to take me anywhere in particular. 10 years ago, Wednesday evening, newly single, time to kill, ZX1200R in the drive, decided to go watch the World Superbikes in Misano, Italy that weekend. I was in England at the time, but got there in time for Saturday practice. After the weekend, I was wondering what to do next, and thought it would be nice to go south in Italy thru the mountains to find some nice bendy roads and good food. As I pored over my map at breakfast in my hotel, I looked south, and quickly found both Bastardo, and Arsoli, (mentioned in the link above), and yet another not mentioned: Sant'Egidio alla Vibrata, which I thought sounded promising.
I was right about the nice bendy roads thru the mountains, and all the way along the roadside nearing Bastardo were little mile markers proclaiming the imminence of that place: "Bastardo 20 KM... Bastardo 10 KM" etc etc. and the suspense was killing me, especially when I saw off to the distant hillside to the north of the road a beautiful and picturesque little Italian town, clinging to the hillside in tumbling stone walls and houses, with church towers glinting in the sunlight. I had visions of myself sipping a quiet Espresso in the town square, doves fluttering in the gables of the medieval townhouses, scrawling postcards to friends back in England marked "Welcome to Bastardo, Wish you were here"...
Sadly, that town was an altogether different place, and after the road swung south, I entered a nasty, dusty, broken-down village of broken windows, geriatric dogs, and raw concrete. I saw no people. My journal entry of that day was something like "Bastardo, where everyone is so pissed at having to live there, they have assumed that attitude... complete bastards all of them".
Needless to say, I passed on the opportunity of visiting Arsoli, and even bypassed Sant'Egidio Alla Vibrata... they could only have been worse.
    It's all Here. Now.

Some funny dirty sounding place names around the globe.

Not rude sounding but I lived near Swastika, Ontario. And I had a friend in university who grew up in Placenta, Newfoundland

Reddick, FL is well known to long time FL mtb riders. The best trail in the state, Razorback, closed in 07. To this day nothing in FL compares.
Worked at Trek/Fisher dealer 2008-2013. Only a little biased.

You forgot Paradise (just a few minutes down the road from Intercourse), Puseyville, and Brownstown.

Can you suggest places for that map? Because I live right next to Taintsville, Florida, and it's not listed. Central FL MTBers know that one too, you drive right past the Taintsville sign on the way to Snowhill.
Speed solves all problems, except for those things it makes worse.

Ho, ho, hold it. You LIVE in Taintsville, and you're asking for directions? You're unfamiliar with your own Taint? Oh dear, somebuddy give jaggy a directional assist!

I like Wet Beaver Creek here in AZ. I also regularly go by Dry Beaver Creek.

    Hmmm, choices, choices.
