yes it truely does. a damn shame francois, chum or someone couldn't come clean and let the entire site know their intentions instead of everyone finding out via proxy. Definitely removed the fun factor for what was a poor decision.

I'm hungry. I may walk over to the fridge and get a snack. But I just keep sitting here, so maybe not.

We could threaten the Admins with a walk-out to a different site that allows more Reps...?

(but I don't know one, and come to think of it I don't particularly want to give up MTBR...)

I've been spending my 5 wisely - repping the guys in the Videos forum - I could watch those MTB vids the whole day. Busy editing my latest to post there: a "best of" for 2012. Keep a look out for it...

    HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! :D

how many days do you guys wait on something before deciding to call a shop? I personally don't like being harassed, but after 2 & 1/2 weeks on a shifter warranty-I feel like there should be news. I know I'll call today, but how long do you guys wait?

One week. That should be enough time for parts arrival and install.

Thanks guys, I went in with a buddy after a week because he had to pick up some seals for his fork I'm rebuilding and I was told they were waiting on sram to call back. But it seems like there are enough reps at sram to handle it quicker. I'll even be doing the installation. Putting my front derailleur back on and running the cable is something I had to learn.

Kind of silly: I've been riding my 2x as a 1x with the front derailleur off up until a surgery I just got so I'm not too impatient. I joked to my buddy, "manual front shifting, the wave of the future for slopestyle riding." Not the best of jokes, but I also noticed that a dramatic change in chainline would sometimes change my gear up front. "New system," I thought to myself. "Lighter, too. But how can I make less equipment cost more money?"

I was curious what you guys thought, thanks again.

So people, Happy New Year!! :D

The 5 reps are bogus, as there are many deserving peeps on this forum in the need of a boost..
Anyway, I had a nice ride and even filled a hole in the trail...

yes, good on you for riding today.. i wish i could, but it is a "giving back to wife" time of year for me - so skiing is the sport of the week...

much prefer biking, but gotta put the money in the bank...

    happy new year...

Happy New Year, everyone! I need to go skiing, but I'll wait a few days for all the tourists/revelers to go back home before I head up to the slopes. No sense in going up there just to stand in lift lines when I can go up any other day too.
