    The show must go on!

    One of my team made this a couple of days ago, it's kind of cool to see! It is the first 8 hours in my usual 20 hour workday condensed into 2 minutes. Giving birth to my current baby...

    Cool! Reminds me of the Def Leppard video for 'Pour Some Sugar on me' (I loved them as a kid and chose that song for the school lip sync when I was in 2nd grade.. yeah, it was the 80's).

    I've always kinda liked those time lapse sequences of crews setting up concert venues. Cool video.

    I'm very impressed. I don't know what I was looking at, but whatever it was it was very impressive.
    Just to think that people up north in the dead of winter move around much at all is a bit unsettling. But yes, the show must go on!

    The guy in yellow is our head rigger, he is in charge of hanging all the motors to the roof that hang all the lighting/audio/video elements. We hang 130,000 pounds of crap from the roof on 127 motors every show/day.

    We have just been thru some nasty storms up this way, drove from Edmonton AB down to Portland OR yesterday, took 24 hours and it was not fun. We all made it apart from the semi taking the opening act Miguel's gear. He wrecked on I 5 about 2 miles from the venue here after driving almost 1000 miles. A car pulled out in front of him, and he had to take avoiding action which sent him down the line of concrete barrels on the road split. One broken arm and many bruises, but Miguel is on stage right now... I had to send out one of our tractors to rescue their trailer.

    Drake/Music... hmmm, you're not wrong, but many thousands of kids would disagree, and the kid pays my bills so I love it!

    Twerking?!? Don't get me started on that... my eyes still hurt from seeing some of what this boy has seen.

    We used to move that fast but we had a much smaller crew. I miss those days but not much.

    deke, you have to move that fast in Edmonton in winter with the doors open.
    I have a device that can access the total knowledge of man. I use it to look at pictures of cats and argue with strangers.

    Had no idea of just how much prep work is needed to host a show.

    Here's another similar from a couple of days ago. Just missing the first 3 or 4 hours.
    16 semis; 58 permanent crew; 110 local crew to help each day; approx 20 hours door to door; 12 weeks done; avge 5 shows per week in different cities; 2 more to go, then I can go home and ride!
