Yesterday was great, easy day at work, rode some amazing trail in McCall id.
Today work sucks, just shitty day in general. Weird how things work?
Enjoying a beer though so things are looking up!

I would be willing to suffer through some bad days if it meant I got to live in McCall.

The past two days have been quite the opposite for me. Yesterday was horrible. I didn't sleep a wink the night before and I was extremely fatigued all day at work, I even considered calling it a day early and going home to go to sleep. But I muscled my way through it. That night, I took heavy drugs to get a full nights rest...

...and today I awoke fully refreshed, fully rested. Worked all day and felt great. Came home and took care of all the usual chores and now I'm getting a little tired (like usual).

Let's hope tomorrow is an even better day for everyone!

I like how the new, improved version of the forums let one type out "****". Just a few more of Carlin's dirty words, and the enlightenment will be in full bloom.

    Sorry, carry on.

This word has almost become "excepted by the masses" for common daily vocabulary.

One of my good friends died a few years ago after fighting off the horror of chemo for years (twice). Since then, I've never had a shitty day.

I can't give you more +rep so I'll just give you props here.

That's pretty much the same way I feel, except for the friend. If I have a shitty day I'm doing something wrong so I just change it up.

no matter how bad you think you got it, somebody has it worse. then THAT guy still has it better than some other guy.

i kinda sorta hurt my hand on the bike. now it's hard to turn door knobs, nevermind twisting other knobs....

Still able to twist knobs, so not THAT guy.

Trying to update my EZ-pass during lunch has become a fricking nightmare.

It started out to be a shitty day but it has improved greatly. No matter how bad it is there are far to many souls that have it much worse, may dog bless them all.

My Grandfather in England spent the entire WWI on the western front in the trenches, and some of his experiences showed me that no matter what, I would probably never have it as bad as he and many like him had it. That has given me an ongoing perspective thru my life. The lines that VW Bob mentioned from GH's song ring oh so true... Dog be praised!

i'm sorry for your loss... cancer sucks.

Did your friend refuse chemo or that your friend went through two courses of chemo treatment?

I'm only asking because I was treated with IV chemo every 3 weeks for 2 years. I'm still on oral chemo and will need to continue take it daily for 3 more years. I'm happy to be alive

Oh J, I would hug you if I could. Good for you! You just made my day.

My friend went through treatments once for breast cancer. Had surgery. Did chemo. And we were all hoping that it was gone and it seemed okay for like a year or two. It came roaring back and she went through chemo again but it was everywhere including her brain and liver. It was really rough for her and her husband. She fought like crazy and I was so proud of her.

But I also know an extraordinary bunch of survivors and it's you guys that are the heroes....not sports stars, actors and singers.

Again, J, congrats and we are all happy for your continued health! Thanks for sharing.
