    Saved A Life Today

    Co-worker was choking on his lunch, I performed the heimlich to clear his airway.

    And, if this follows the way our lovely country tends to work, that co worker will now file a lawsuit against you and/or your company. Sexual harassment for unwanted contact? Personal injury for a broken rib? Workers comp claim for mental trauma?

    I know thats a cynical way to respond, but its not far from what happens is it? My dad is a retired health care professional. I watched him drive right past a fresh auto accident with out even slowing years ago. I asked him why he didnt stop to see if he could help. His response? A doctor he worked with had stopped at an accident. That doctor saved a mans life that would have surely died. He was rewarded with a malpractice suit. True story.
