Ha, funny thread! I've done all that I can to bury the bad ones over the years. Gonna have to dig deep into the memory files to pull up the stinkers.

    Piranha, Piranha!

<strike>It's so bad it doesn't even have an IMDB page</strike> nevermind I found it. Piranha (1972) - IMDb I'd try to explain why it's bad, but the IMDB user comments explain it well enough.

I stumbled upon the 1996 movie, Ed, while watching cable one night while under the influence. So bad I couldn't stop watching. It's about a baseball playing monkey and stars the Friends actor, Matt Lablanc. Just the most horrible cliched movie ever. Almost entertaining. I'll let the viewer reviews do the speaking:

Wouldn't it be easier to list the good movies? That's a much shorter list. 99% of movies made these days are crap. Even worse, they are warmed over crap (sequels, spin-offs, remakes, etc.).

the recent superman movie... blah and fooey! the special effects couldn't drag this one out of the manure... which almost guarantees a sequel.

Apparently there is a sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance (2011)... because he wouldn't die in the first one. Pity

The only movie in the past decade that I can think of that he was in that didn't suck was Kick-Ass and surprise, surprise ... he wasn't the leading actor.

How about Jack and Jill starring Adam Sandler. Actually, someone could probably fix that one for me in a similar manner.

PLUS ONE to this... those shaky shots just make me annoyed. I mean, I don't see things like that in real life, so why should I in a movie theater?

As for a really crappy movie, I fell asleep on the couch last night, (there's a surprise), and woke up to something on the TV that was so bad I was fascinated for all of 5 minutes! I had to check what it was: Fast and Furious. My Dog! Awful!!!

I saw Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift at a matinee few years ago. I was the only female in the theatre. It was beyond stupid

This Amish Drift sums it up better and is more entertaining

Cage has been in so many movies it's hard to make a blanket statement like that, but there's only a handful of his flicks that I will watch if they show up on TV. I agree it's been sort of a lost decade for him, looking at IMDB I only see 3 since 2003 that I would sit through - Kickass, Lord of War, Matchstick Men. Most of his movies give me the same "must-change-the-channel" urge that I get from say, a Chuck Norris movie or show.

Plus, he's a tax cheat and IMO there's nothing lower than a rich dude who cheats on his taxes.

Brazil? But it's just like our dystopia with classier props and less mistakes! Oh right, I get it.

QFT. It seems like DeNiro's method of judging a script is to look at how much money he can make. Or maybe he thinks acting in bad rom-coms with a George Washington hair style is stretching his boundaries.

DeNiro has gone down hill, but he is probably just filling the coffers.
Maybe there aren't any good scripts being written what with good dialog a thing of the past and 'action' and special effects being at the fore.

Yup--I enjoy watching silly B movies for the entertainment--plus it confirms to my wife that I'm weird.
Watched 'The Age of the Dinosaurs' the other night.
Wicked stupid--but I do need to keep up my rep.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who hates Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey they all have made about one funny movie in their whole careers the rest were annoying stupidity. "The road" was horrible and amazingly it gets good reviews.

    The really crappy movie thread

Borne legacy, the trailer oversold the movie. I thought it was going to be action packed. Unfortunately, all already shown in the trailer

Good call on prometheus, royal let down.

I'd say godfather 3 (Sophia Coppola? Wth?)

    And, matrix 3.

Aren't they the same movie with different actors?

As for DeNiro, dinero means money in Espanol, so maybe that's it.

I will never understand the wealthy who just can't get enough ... sports stars risk permanent injury, actors & musicians crap on their prior performance legacy, etc, all for the love of money.
Chasing bears through the woods drunk with a dull hatchet is strongly not advised

Best part of the movie is when DeCrapio froze to death.

Judging by the reactions to Titanic here, guys really are heartless, unemotional, and not romantic.

I have enough security in my manhood to admit I cried like a baby in that movie. Of course my girlfriend kept kicking me and it hurt like hell. Even Conan the Barbarian would have cried from those kicks.

How bad was Rock Of Ages, pretty bad. This scene was funny and disturbing all at once.

Word War Z is now out in DVD and it still sucks

I never saw it in the theatre, but instead read the book which I thought was OK, and then waited for it to come out on DVD. What happened to the rest of the book? The movie deviated so much from it they should have called it something else. And a lame attempt at leaving the story open - most likely to pave the way for World War Z Part 2! In 3D!

I couldn't sleep on a 14hour flight from China. I watched...tried to watch... that will smith and kid movie, After Earth, and fell right asleep. Absolute garbage. Great sleep aid though.

    The really crappy movie thread

Anything with Jack Black in it. I can not stand that guy and will not support him by watching his movies.

Punch Drunk Love by Adam Sandler. I don't get it. Nothing about it makes sense.

Top Gun. The cinematography was great, but that's about it. Typical Hollywood garbage with loopholes you can drive a truck through.

The last Batman movie. What a terrible way to follow up Heath Ledger's brilliant work in Dark Knight. The plot was hard to follow. Bain sucked.
