Life's too short to ride a crappy mountain bike. Do whatever it takes to ride the bike you want to ride. You won't regret it.

Well, if you keep posting in the OC (Off Camber), you'll no doubt start to be turned off to most things in life. You'll see and hear plenty in here you won't be able to unsee and unhear.

I'd recommend posting in the beginner forum. OC has jack to do with bikes.

Oh, and stay away from any thread Kona8675309 or Picard may have started.

It is mostly marketing BS. The second you drive off the lot it looses value.

Nailed-it. You'll never be motivated to ride a crappy bike.....EVER. Get the best bike you can afford and suddenly your world becomes your oyster....

I bought my road frame used off a pro. It was in perfect condition. I got it for a fraction of the cost. I had it built up to my spec my neighbor who own a bike shop.

I think it can be to ones advantage to hunt around before you plop a lot money at your LBS (not that I don't want to support).

If a person rides a fancy bike they should ride it to it's full potential or they end up looking like a DB. And we've all seen those.

No, not larger than the other two combined but it can be larger than them individually.

I think you are mistaking your penis for a testicle. I think the technical term is micro-penis, in case you need to explain yourself in the future.
