Actually, it's at 55 you can start getting discounts. I know this because I've been 60 for quite a while now.....

Got my first senior's discount almost 15 years ago.
I took my kids camping and they charged me $5 more that the previous week when I had gone by myself. I asked about it and the girl said: "Oh, you must have got the senior's discount, do you want that again?" I replied: "Damn right I do."

I turned 55 last year or the year before.

First saw Ozzy in 1975. Sat front row at Long Beach Arena for Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. My ears rang for a week. Saw them a few more times since then, and last saw him about 30 years ago and thought he was looking a bit stiff around the edges :~) Their latest album is a welcome return to the BS of old. I wonder if TI can still shred like he used to?

I did a few shows with him about 10 years ago, and we had this water gag consisting of 8 fire hose nozzles mounted in the front truss of the lighting rig over the audience. They were driven by a huge pump and a 10000 gallon water tank beside the stage. When Ozzy came in to sound check, I showed him the foot controller which had 3 buttons: A controlled stage left, B controlled stage right, and A + B let it all rip. I explained it would not be a good idea to do A + B cos we had no idea what that would do... he grinned and wandered off.
Show time he walked on stage, "Good evening Beeeerliiin!!!", and immediately jumped on the A + B button. Emptied the entire 10000 gallons over the crowd in no time at all, grinning like a fool...

    Everyone got very wet.

    Heheheh!

Sticker my 71 year old riding buddy has on his recumbent windscreen. (I figure it's ok to post in Off Camber since it's not a real bike!)

    Nice.

I think we paid $6.50 for front row seats in 1975. That's 23% more to see them in 1975 vs. 1972. Damned inflation back then was brutal ;~)

I think it was into the 80's before I ever paid more than $15 to see a concert.
