Cool-blue Rhythm The O.C. Name game / Optimus "yellow Jeep" vanity plate ideas...

Yes this thread is dedicated to one of the O.C.'s most respected members Mr. Optimus. As most of you know he recently had the joy of purchasing a new off road toy. A 2004' JEEP RUBICON which he plans on doing some fun back country adventures in. He bought it used so he wasn't able to pick out the color of his choice and ended up with a bright yellow one. Which in my opinion for a Jeep is spot on. I think bright colors on Jeeps are great and yellow is at the top IMO for bright colors. Anyway I think his Jeep needs a vanity plate and my choice is "OLD YELLER" but it needs to be shortened to 7 characters so it would be

"OLYELER"

What's your opinion on this name and post up any other good names of an ideal vanity plate for his new special rig.
Disclaimer: Optimus never agreed to a vanity plate. It is our duty to push it upon him.

Considering its a TJ, it's not old.

Old Yellow would only work on a CJ, preferably a 5 or a flatty.

Honestly, I'm so glad to be out of the Jeep club and I don't have to do that ghey little wave anymore.
I drive a Dodge truck. I don't have to wave at every other Dodge truck on the road. Why does every fagnut Jeep driver have to wave at each other?!? Eyes on the road. Hands on the wheel.

That's how Dodge truck drivers drive, huh? Do you have anything against steering with the hand that's holding the phone for texting while the other hand is holding a beer?

DJ just gave me the heads up that this here thread was here, good stuff guys. I learned something new too, I now have to ghey wave at other Jeepers. I already ghey wave at all of the gheys, Mustangs, and Banshee riders, and now I have to do Jeeps too.

I've been out of the loop for a few days, got a busy spell again at work, dialing in a few new parts.

Can't be any worse than the Mustang that I revamped, the bikes that I build, or the kid in college. Gotta spend it on something, might as well be something enjoyable.

Just so you know where I came from with Jeeps, this was mine -

The O.C. Name game / Optimus "yellow Jeep" vanity plate ideas...-jeep-pics.jpg

I owned it for 15 years, taking it from a bone stock 1990 YJ with chrome glamour rings on the wheels, to the rock crawler beast you see here.
In the end, the only thing original was the frame, having survived a serious car accident, a blown engine, grenaded transmission, grenaded transfer case, and multiple rollovers off road. This thing wheeled everything in Arizona and northern California and is now enjoying life in Idaho.

Me thinks that Opti has been working so many hours that he's blessed in making it faster than he can spend it. No time to spend it.

Nice, looks like it was fun, and more than capable.

Fueled up today after running through my first full tank. 50/50 mix of 70mph highway and heavy stop and go city driving, 17.6 mpg. I was expecting a bit worse, I can live with 17.

17? My TDI Touareg AWD gets that trailering most of the time. 32 to 35 on the interstate all day. Then again, my wheeling days ended when I sold my 87 Toyota 4x4 Xtra Cab with a topper a year. ago.

I'm sure you got some sick mods planned for that Jeep to make it rock crawler worthy.

Good friend of mine, Damian Smith, does lots of heavy Jeep mods in his shop here. Check this video out of some of the stuff they like to roll.

My Pathfinder got 17ish, for my typical day to day my Mustang gets 12ish, so yeah I can live with 17. 17mpg and the ability to drive pretty much anywhere I desire off road, or 12mpg and the ability to dust pretty much anything on the street, both fair trades in my book. If I was overly concerned with fuel economy I would obviously choose differently in my vehicles.
