I had to google "Yoofemism" to figure out you meant "Euphemism", but yeah I didn't think of that interpretation when I typed that up. Kind of surprised you didn't add something in about "Glitching" my ass too.

    Nice.

"Newman told WIRED that the diagram seems to indicate that control systems for doors are properly segmented and are not immediately accessible from the internet. "

Best quote in the article. "not immediately accessible"? So it'll take a few minutes?

There was a big article some where touting the demise of peoples self with all this computers talking to each other and learning your actions and behaviors and linking it to you personally.
Like your car getting hacked thru the blue tooth , and On-star. and finding all your info that's shared between all the systems.

When I first started using computers back in 1979 (as a wee lad) I didnít take for granted the fact that someday, computers might really help out society, although they will always have flaws, since computers are designed by humans who make mistakes. A few years later I hoped that computers would always be incredibly expensive so as to keep idiots and morons from using them, since they might cause havoc one way or another.

Fast-forward to today, seems as though 99% of computer users are idiots and moronsó just look at all the crap on the internet which simply does not belongÖ itís as if the internet forgot to use the flush handle.

Perhaps that was the problem. I still think that people should be required to take some sort of intelligence aptitude test in order to qualify for purchasing/using a computer or other handheld electronic device that accesses the internet.

I don't know if doing that would work--can't make anything idiot proof, the idiots are too damn smart.
The way to go would be making a lowest common denominator infrastructure with lots of product information, cute pictures, stupid jokes, and porn, and make it like the kids table at thanksgiving. Oh... right.

Where DID they put the dev/null? Gotta be around here somewhere...
