I gave up trying to figure out what the porcelain things are where the seats are, but certainly that is a flush tank up high. The friggin walls are about as dirty as a public restroom is.

    ????

omg, are those things actually what I think they are? Gross...............

the toilet with the crossed knife and fork is a nice touch!

I wish. It's easier to find good Asian food around here. I do wish for some kick a$$ street vendors like in Asia.

Imagine how many "Workers must wash hands before returning to work" signs you would be required to post in a place like that. A crap load seems like about the right number.

I could be wrong but I think I saw the pic of their restroom it's one of those smart glass that turn cloudy whe you lock the door. It's funny if its true that someone would name the restaurant after that feature.

Actually, the look of the place reminds me of the old one-arm lunch places they used to have in all the cities for the working class stiffs, only it's fancier and there are seats. In the old one-arm joints, you basically stood up, and leaned "one arm" on the small table, and ate yer sandwich.

There was still one in the skid row section of San Diego back in the early 80's. It was Henry's Barbeque. Actually had some pretty good sandwiches. The selection was 'limited' to put it kindly. You could have ham, or beef, or "ham and beef". Aside from that the only sides he had were those spicy carrots like they have in the Mexican joints, and that was because about half of his clientele was Mexican. And he also had sodas, by the can.

I think some of you might underestimate just how much the asian culture loves poop and bathroom games.
Seriously, they love it, poop is a national passtime, they even eat it processed, they dream of poop for some reason, half their porn is poop related, they just cant get enough of the stuff.

That may be true, but I've spent most of my life up to my chin (no pun intended...well, maybe a little) in Asian people and their culture, and unless I was missing an otherwise subtle hint(s), it has been my observation that Asians have about as much appreciation for a fart or ****-joke as we non-asians do. Which means, it varies.

That episode of Kitchen Nightmares was pure gold! It was exhausting just watching the wacky ass lady go on and on and on....
Believe it or not I think they're still in business. The last I heard they finally settled a lawsuit where they agreed to finally give the worker's their rightly deserved tips! Some of the AZ peeps ought to drop in and review the place.

If the imported miniature toilet bowl ceramicware used extensively by the restaurant doesn't offend you, imagine it filled with goopy brown curry. If diarrhea-looking food swimming in a toilet bowl still doesn't offend, understand the dish is named signature "golden poop" rice.

...Thankfully, seat covers are employed, and no one's actually forced to cop a squat while downing dishes so lovingly named: "black poop" (chocolate sundae), "smells-like-poop" (braised pork over rice), "constipation" (zha jiang mian), "bloody number two" (vanilla-strawberry sundae). For an Alinea-esque multi-sensory dining experience, it's best to order the stinky tofu for the pleasant malodor.
For some reason, I don't really have any urge to check out a place like that.

Now that it's opened, I'll try to make it out there. I'm pretty sensitive to this so we'll see how offended I would be One thing to have a bathroom theme decor, but to design menu around bathroom theme is just outrageous.

You gotta laugh when you read "soft opening"
