Yeah............don't know what I was thinking allowing my wife and my friends talk me into going to see that. I'm not a scary movie kind of person. I'm pretty sure I permanently compressed the headrest foam in my theater seat from all the times I was f'n startled by those damn zombies.

    The World's End

Saw it, loved it, a proper follow-up to Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.

Solid performances from everyone, and very funny.

So good, even if this is the closing of a trilogy for Pegg, Frost and Wright I hope they decide to do another film together. Great chemistry !

I never even made an attempt to watch this until a year ago... Loved it in a romantic Cinerama kinda way. The filmography had me hooked. Wish I could have seen it in a properly constructed theater of its time rather than the smiley face TV version.

    Mud (2012)

Not a big Matthew McConaughey fan, but he turned the corner in this one. The 2 kid actors are just amazing. BMX and skateboards
Overall I thought it was a terrific film. It must have taken some balls for the studios to approve of it. I can imagine the logline:

"Escaped convict befriends little boys in the woods."
    F*ck Cancer

"Les visiteurs" (the visitors) A hilarious sci-fi sword+sandels comedy from France made 1993. No CGI which makes it even better!

    Prometheus.

That was a stinker. Ridley Scott should be ashamed of himself.
