    Mystery / The guessing game..

As many of you know scientists have recently found evidence of "something " on Mars.
But until further testing and confirmation has been done, they refuse to reveal it to the public just yet. We will have to wait for a few more week's.
Anyone care to guess what they have found.

My guess: They found Jimmy Hoffa's body.
    Waiting on DNA confirmation.

On a more serious note, they probably found water and evidence that life exists (existed), hence we could possibly be doomed to the same fate and GW (Carbon Taxes) will be eminent. There is no way for the average person to fully comprehend the scope of NASA.

As you can see I'm skeptical. We've got way bigger problems to deal with at the moment.

Whatever it is (allegedly) is nothing more than a ploy for increased funding.

Oh, I'm sure it's earth shattering.

    The timing is "perfect."

Hmm, I think Mars had an atmosphere but now does not because of a lacking or changed magnetic field to protect and contain it.
While I think it's a stretch to think we can find any worthwhile to us info, by poking around the surface with a robot and getting info remotely, especially considering the cost both physically and financially, I also think we should. Because to explore and dream is part of who we are as people, and if nothing else discoveries will be made on the journey itself. Plus as divided counties that live together on one planet, that's something we can all dream, explore, work for, as well as benefit and enjoy together, maybe
    Round and round we go

    Very true!
It's the mystery that's irritating. Why say anything until confirmation has been made. It's not like they found a slightly used set of Nevegals 2.35's and are launching a search party for the missing rider.

The Rover is actually out in a remote desert location here in California. I'd recognize Death Valley any day of the year!!!
DJ may know servers, but he obviously doesn't know shit about car batteries in the southwest.

It's actually in Pasadena, called the Mars Yard. At one time you could log onto JPL's web site and control the camera.

I really do not believe we are alone in the universe, so I like the idea of a fossil. My guess is it is some rock that appears to have some carbon in it.
