    Morbid Fear

There are two things that most people would consider that I have phobias of. I spent the last 4 days at a camp on the ocean. I was so beautiful, and I have such a good time playing in the waves, fishing, or kayaking. BUT, the whole time I am thinking about SHARKS! Even when I'm in fresh water I think about SHARKS! Some times I have a hard time going in the water.

The other thing that freaks me out, (Don't make fun) is babies.
I don't like the noses they, I don't like looking at them, I freak if some one tries to make me hold one. I don't like being in the same room as one. The worst is being in an elevator when someone brings a baby on, and than starts talking about it. "oh I think he likes you" hell no he doesn't!

I know I'm a freak, and there is no point trying to make sense of what is in my head, they have tried

Oh no, not babies on a plane. SF to Chicago, midnight departure, baby cried the entire flight. It stopped crying and went to sleep just before we got to chico. Then we hit turbulance.

    Good luck with your phobias.
I'm enjoying my childhood way too much to ever give it up.

Vice grips, we basically fear what we dont know much about, i understand your fears, but if youd spent years diving with them and fishing with them, you lose your fear and start to understand them and respect them.

However your Dingo biscuit fear is totally rational, i fear them more than a syd harbour bull for sure..

LOL Sharks there, although i know a fresh born lil dingo biscuit that cries all night upstairs that would make great live bait for a big bull, few zip ties and 2 nice big suicide hooks, no shark could resist that.

I have to say hairy legs and pits kind of don't bug me, if a hot girl has the balls to pull it off great. But not a fan of a bushy hatchet wound and hairy nips are gross!

I'll tell you what to do, shave one of your legs and get into bed.
Now rub that leg on your other unshaven hairy leg, and get back to me and tell me about how it felt?

No sharks in fresh water in NH, try a lake. And don't swim in the ocean near seals, thems tastey shark snacks.

Tone's I get where you are going with this but I think your fear of hairy legged ladies would vanish if YOU stopped shaving your legs, you closet roadie. Then you wouldn't notice any difference when the two of you rubbed legs or have I got that all wrong and you were talking about rubbing middle legs with your bumping buddy?

vice grip, your fear of babies is completely irrational. They only have three basic needs, clean bum, full tummy and plenty of sleep. You should really be fearing what babies grow into, opinionated self centered children with a feeling of entitlement that know everything but remarkably are not yet so independent they can move their problems into their own home.

    Me?

Heights. The thing is, I have bungee jumped before, and heights where I am secured or strapped in, like a rollercoaster or something, I am good. But edges of cliffs or buildings where a simple slip could put you over, I get that pulling sensation.....vertigo like.

Unknown dogs near my kid. I am in the insurance biz, and I have seen claims from all sorts of dogs biting kids. Most insurance companies have their bad dog list that of course includes pit bulls, chows, presa canarios, akitas, etc. But most of the claims I have seen are from your average dog, just set off by something. I am a dog owner too (Boxers), and trust my dogs and some other dogs I have spent time with, but the unknown dog coming up to my kid I am not comfortable with at all.

Babynado? That is just too funny! I was cracking up!

I agree though, not big on other people's babies...keep em away, especially if they are crying or pooping...which seems like most of the time.

hay been there, I used to ride road allot. I fell into the trap of the dark practice of shaving my legs. I kind of liked it, to tell you the truth. But I would rather have a clean down stairs mix up and no spider nips on my lady, than hairy legs or pits

Irrational? what's that? If you really have a fear of something there is not much someone can tell you or show you that your just being silly. There is lots of thing I don't like. Not a big fan of bugs crawling on me, but if there is a spider on me or a tick, I just flick it off and don't think of it again. IF I see a shark, or I'm stuck in a room with a baby I don't just forget about it.

Vice Grips, you need to go shark fishing with me and my buddies. It's really fun, especially when you hook a Mako because they launch into the air like a Marlin.

Just trying to help you out vice grips. I suggest you go out to someone you know that has a baby and ask them if you can hold their baby for a short while. Then, go find a place that has live sharks. Pack a small lunch and eat there beside them as they swim around. It will be good for you and less expensive than seeing a shrink.

i like sharks. when i was snorkeling, i saw one and tried to harass it. haha. i'd even get in a shark cage.

spiders however, are tricky. i respect them enough not to kill them, but even just looking at one makes me ill. i do a lot of riding thru overgrown trails and have had my share of webs to the face. i always try to get somebody else to ride in front!

I happened to turn on the TV last night here in Canada where I happen to be, and while channel surfing, found a documentary about 'Humanzees'. First I wondered if it was April 1 or something, but a few very earnest people were expounding upon dark government run programs that were attempting to create a half-human, half-primate thing, with a taste for human blood, and to create a 'humanzee' force that could be sent against enemies to wreak havoc!!!... I kid you not, this did not seem to be a spoof, altho at one point Jesse Ventura came on, and I struggle to take him seriously. When he said that these creations would be able to take down a certain Andre the Giant without even trying, and after I had looked up who that was, I think we all have cause to fear... Be afraid of the HUMANZEE!!! BE VERY AFRAID!!!
