    Missing an old friend

Chopper was our 8 month old German Shepherd that we lost last year. He would be about 2 and a half if he was still with us. I think he's "up there" somewhere....

Yeah Hawg, I guess I never talked about him much. He was a great little guy! He was about 1 month younger than Jett. They were bonding like brothers.

Awwww. It's never easy to lose an animal but losing a young one seems so unfair..

Yup--we love our dogs. I think that dogs are absolutely unique in the animal kingdom.
Very special, indeed and capable of giving and receiving loyalty and more.

Sad news, that's too bad you lost your buddy last year. Your tribute seems to be right up your alley, nicely done.

Oh yea he was totally out of it there. Had an abscessed tooth, a polyp on his gums, and a couple skin tags that had to be removed, so while he was under we got his nails trimmed up as well.
Bulldogs are so lazy he won't kill back the quick. He was adopted later in life and always had bear claws. They were getting to the point his toes splayed so thought it prudent to add it on to the list of procedures.

A wonderful tribute! Our animal companions are more deserving of a beautiful afterlife than we could ever be.
