jkad, I love it, and could watch that stuff for hours, but where is the gopro credit at the end? So much of that has come straight from the gopro marketing team.

    Don't bug me I'm eating...

It's funny that the praying mantis pupils will follow you as you move around. I was about 6 inches out when I took these photographs it stood its ground and showed no fear.

I took this picture at Yellowstone in the summer of '91. That night I ate some chicken that we BBQ at the camp ground. It wasn't fully cooked and I got sick and barfed for the next 6 hours.

The biggest dragline ever made (Big Muskie) had almost triple the bucket capacity of this one.

I feel the same way about giant machines.

I work for an engineering firm, and on one of our jobs we contracted a Mammoet PTC (It's one of the largest movable cranes in the world) for lifting duties in an oil refinery. I got to design the foundation for the crane to sit on, which was at least twice as burly as any of the permanent foundations in the refinery.

I wasn't able to get a shot of the whole thing, but here is what it looks like in full

I was able to upload older pics sent to me from a friend in South Australia taken during the drought in 2009

During the heat wave a little Koala just walked into the back porch looking for a bit of heat relief. The home owners filled up a bucket and this is what happened!

    Yep!

The city wanted to tear them down a while back, due to "safety concerns" as they though the towers could/would fall and hurt people, but the community rallied and prevented their demise, I assume thats in the wiki link, but I think I read that on a placard there at the towers.
